Hotels in Cran-Gevrier, Annecy – Best Places to Stay

Cran-Gevrier is roughly 2 to 4 kilometres west of the Vieille Ville and the lake shore, depending on where exactly your hotel is located. By local SIBRA bus the journey takes around 10 to 15 minutes. On a rental bike or along the cycle paths it is a pleasant 15 to 20 minute ride. By car, outside peak summer traffic, you can reach the old town in under 10 minutes.

The area is dominated by budget and mid-range chain hotels. Visitors whose priority is walking to the lake, the Palais de l'Isle or the canal-side restaurants each evening would be better placed staying closer to the centre.
