Updated 8 July 2026 · 60 real hotels
Palma blends Mallorcan Gothic architecture with contemporary interiors, making it a natural home for boutique and design-conscious hotels. The highest concentration of polished addresses sits within the old town and the La Llotja-Born quarter, a short walk from Ca'n Pere Antoni beach. Whether you are drawn to a restored noble house or a landmark five-star on the seafront, the city delivers considered stays at a range of price points.
Your stay in Palma, in one conversation
Charlize builds hotels, activities and dining around your wishes, dates and budget.
Palma rewards guests who look beyond the standard resort formula. The old town is a layered canvas of Renaissance courtyards, Baroque facades and narrow limestone lanes, and local hoteliers have learned to work with that heritage rather than against it. The result is a cluster of intimate, carefully restored addresses where original architectural details, curated local craftsmanship and unhurried service define the experience far more than square footage or facilities checklists.
The city's design sensibility is rooted in place: natural stone, terracotta, hand-painted tiles and the particular quality of Mallorcan light set the tone in almost every property worth considering. The most sought-after locations are the historic core around the cathedral and La Llotja-Born, the quieter El Terreno neighbourhood to the west, and the coastline toward Calvià for guests who prefer a resort setting with easy access to Palma itself.
